Here are some suggestions to keep heating costs under control:
- Service your boiler: A home with an inefficient boiler can cost up to 10% more to heat than an up to date system that is regularly serviced.
- Insulating your home is one of the most effective ways of improving the energy efficiency of your home. For example, insulating your un-insulated loft can save around €100 per year and just under one tonne of carbon dioxide.
- Order in larger quantities. We can lower the cost of our fuel by delivering larger loads less often so maximise your tanks capacity to get the best rate.
